Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland broke a long-standing Premier League record, as they defeated West Ham 3-0 on Wednesday night.
The first half at the Etihad had ended goalless.
Nathan Ake headed in Riyad Mahrez’s free-kick four minutes after the break to give the champions the lead.
In the 70th minute, Haaland ran onto Jack Grealish’s pass and lifted the ball over Lukasz Fabianski to make it 2-0.
It was a record Premier League goal No 35 for Haaland in his first season in England.
He has now overtaken Alan Shearer and Andy Cole who held the record of 34 for many years.
City have now gone top again with 79 points, one more than Arsenal, with one outstanding game to play.
