Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has insisted he is the right man for the job.
Solskjaer also declared he can get the best out of his superstar squad, despite playing a 1-1 draw with Everton on Saturday.
The result means United have won only two of their last six fixtures.
Solskjaer added Cristiano Ronaldo, Raphael Varane and Jadon Sancho to his squad this summer and there has been criticism from some fans that another manager would be able to produce better performances with such a talented group.
Solskjaer, however, said: “I’m very confident that we will get the best out of this squad. A lot has happened this month and we’ve had Raphael, and Jadon with us since August, and Cristiano since September.
“We’ve got loads to work on and we need to improve, we know that and I know that but I do believe in this group of players and the coaching staff that I’ve got. So, the short answer is yes I’m confident.”
