EPL: I’m not proud of my behaviour in Man City dressing room – Guardiola

Guardiola

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has said he is not “proud” of his raging dressing room tirades.

However, the Spaniard has admitted he is “unable to control himself”.

Guardiola’s passionate side was laid bare in a teaser for City’s upcoming documentary, Together: 4-In-A-Row.

In one clip, the 53-year-old can be seen shouting at his squad: “That’s why no one did four Premier Leagues in a row! That’s the reason why! Because it’s so difficult!”

The 90-minute documentary also shows when his frustration boiled over against Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace.

Rodri picked up a red card against Forest, while Phil Foden conceded a late penalty against Palace, leading to Guardiola seething in the dressing room.

However, reflecting on his actions, Guardiola admitted: “I’m not really proud sometimes, right after the game, when I’m angry for my emotions to pass it on to the players.

“I am a human being; I make mistakes, but I don’t like that. At that moment, 10 men down and then giving away an unnecessary penalty, sometimes I cannot control myself either.”
