Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag has said his team “showed the winning attitude” during their 4-1 win over Chelsea on Thursday night.
The Blues missed an early chance through Mykhailo Mudryk before Casemiro headed in the opening goal. Anthony Martial then made it 2-0 before the break.
Bruno Fernandes converted his penalty and Marcus Rashford added a fourth.
Joao Felix pulled one back for Chelsea at Old Trafford.
“We showed the winning attitude. Chelsea have outstanding players but in the counter attacks we were really good, really dangerous.
“We scored four in the end. We should’ve scored more but they could score as well,” Ten Hag said.
