The family of the late Aladi Offikwu Johnson, the 24-year-old Benue girl who was brutally killed in an Abuja hotel, has announced her burial arrangements.

Aladi was murdered on Monday, June 15, by a yet-to-be-identified person in a hotel located on 3rd Avenue, Gwarinpa.

In a statement issued on Sunday by Mr Mike Abu on behalf of the family, it was stated that the wake for the late Aladi Offikwu will take place at her family house in Masaka, Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

He explained that the body of the deceased will depart Abuja on Monday, June 23, for her hometown, Olaidu, Edumoga Ehaje in Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State, where she will be laid to rest the same day at her family compound.

Recall that the deceased was brought into the hotel by a male friend, who was later observed to have exited the premises without her.

She was discovered unconscious by hotel staff during routine service rounds, prompting immediate notification of the Police, but was confirmed dead upon medical evaluation.

Meanwhile, the Federal Capital Territory Police Command is yet to track down her killer.
