Following its efforts to put an end to the scourge of “Out of School Children in Nigeria”, the Federal Government, has launched the “Better Education Service Delivery for All” (BESDA), in Kastina State.
Addressing the people during the official launch of the Programme, the Minister of State for Education, Dr. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, said the BESDA programme is one of the initiatives of the Federal Government through the Federal Ministry of Education which was introduced earlier this year and aimed at addressing permanently, the scourge of “Out of School Children”.
Nwajiuba, expressed government’s commitment towards ensuring that issues of Out of School Children is holistically addressed, pointing that no stone will be left unturned in the drive targeted at tackling the menace of “Out of School Children”.
Also speaking, the Kastina State Governor Bello Masari, applauded Federal Government for the efforts it is putting in place towards addressing issues militating education in the country.
The Governor also commend the Minister and his team for always being at the forefront of implementing the policies and programmes of government, aimed at improving the education sector.
Masari, assured that Kastina State would always partner with the Federal Government in order to ensure that objectives of the Better Education Service Delivery for All (BESDA), was actualised.
