Fiery labour activist and former Lagos State Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress Comrade Ayodele Akele is death.
Fondly called Iturity, Akele was a respected voice in labour rights activism who held sway especially during the military dictatorship.
A stormy petrel, Akele was sacked for his activities by the former Lagos State Governor Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and he continued his activism in the labour movement. More details later…
