Destiny smiled yet again on the abducted train victims as five more persons abducted by gunmen who attacked the Kaduna-bound Standard Gauge train regained their freedom, as their abductors released them on Tuesday.
The lucky ones secured their freedom after they had paid some ransom to the bandits.
The men had been in gulag for 198 days, as their abductors repeatedly disclosed that they would only release their victims after the Presidency acceded to their demands.
All the released abductees are males.
There has been no words from the group which had abducted their victims since March 28, 2022.
