As Nigerians awaits the nationwide broadcast promised by President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday evening, several Nigerians have come up with a wish list of what they want to hear from their leader as the nation grapples with the Coronavirus pandemic.
Here is a list of what they want to hear from him this evening:
1 Economic Stimulus: In the last 24 hours the news has gone viral that the Federal Government is planning an economic stimulus for Nigerians. Many believed the Federal Government intends to give N30,000 as relief funds to about 40 million Nigerians holding Bank Verification Numbers (BVN).
Nigerians would want the President address the economic stimulus plan the government has for them as they join hands to combat the dreaded virus.
2. Another issue Nigerians would want addressed is the Federal Government’s plan to contain the dreaded Coronavirus. They want to know what the government is doing to prevent widespread scourge.
3. Nigerians want to know whether it is true that he has little regard for them and would not want to address them on issues of extreme national importance as his colleague heads of government are doing at a time like this. His Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina had in Friday said the President does not like addressing the people.
4. Nigerians want to know the what the government is doing to combat insurgency especially Boko Haram and general insecurity in the country.
5. They want to hear him sack all the security aides especially all Armed Forces top notch for their tardiness in the war against the general insecurity in the country.
