Former Italy’s Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi dies at 86

Former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi is dead.

Berlusconi, who first became Italian Prime Minister in 1994 and died in an Italian hospital yesterday night at the age of 86.

He was reported to have been rushed to have been rushed to the hospital on Friday. He had been in an out of the hospital since 2020, when he was said to have contacted the dreaded COVID-19.

The colourful Italian political figure would be remembered for many things by the Italians buying over AC Milan, from bankruptcy. He was also a businessman with vast investment in the media, television and known as a champion of free enterprise.

Silvio Berlusconi who emerged three time Prime Minister of Italy would be remembered as the longest Prime Minister since the end of the World War II and is widely regarded by critics as a symbol of corruption and moral decay.

Despite his scandals, Berlusconi keeps bouncing back into political reckoning as a charismatic leadership traits loved by the Italians.
