Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro, was disappointed his side didn’t beat Mozambique by a far higher margin in their friendly on Monday night.
The West Africans defeated the Mambas 3-2 in their friendly at the Estadio Municipal de Albufeira.
Peseiro’s side conceded early in the game but rallied to score three goals in the first half.
The Super Eagles, however, failed to add to their tally after the break despite having a numerical advantage over the Mozambicans.
Instead, it was the Mambas that reduced the deficit.
The Portuguese admitted his side deserved more from the game.
“I didn’t like the second half because we commanded it, but you must put more concentration and the finishing was poor,” Peseiro said in his post-match interview.
“Our team are better than this team and yet we let in two goals.
“We played better than this result because we created 10, 14 chances, many opportunities.
“I liked the match against Saudi Arabia, but today, I don’t like it. Today, we need to score five, six, seven, eight goals.”
