Renowned Nigeria prophet and leader of INRI Evangelical spiritual church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has again berated President Muhammadu Buhari over the spate of insecurity in the nation.
The clergy in a statement made available to newsmen on Monday morning, January 25, warned Yoruba freedom fighter, Sunday Adeyemo, better known as Sunday Igboho over his fight against Fulani herdsmen in the South-West region of Nigeria.
Ayodele cautioned Igboho to tread carefully on the ongoing matter before it degenerates into the unexpected. He restated that Fulani herdsmen are a terrorist group and hence the Buhari administration must take up the matter with all seriousness.
Naija News understands that Ayodele’s statement was coming a few days following the forceful eviction of Seriki Fulani and herdsmen in Ibarapa community in Oyo state, after an order from Sunday Igboho to his disciples.
Reacting to the developments, Primate Ayodele condemned President Buhari, saying that he has disappointed Nigerians again for failing to address the issue the way he is supposed to.
He added that the President is not in control of his government and if care isn’t taken, “Nigeria will experience what no one ever prays for because it will be terrible.”
The prophet explained that God had shown him that the Fulani herdsmen are terrorist groups and in just a few months, the prophecy is already manifesting.
‘The government must look into this matter seriously so that it will not turn to what the government doesn’t expect. Fulani herdsmen matter is a serious matter, and it can consume the government,” he said.
The statement reads further:
“I have said it earlier that Fulani Herdsmen will become a terrorist group, I still want to stand by it that the association is a terrorist group. If this government allow what is going on to continue, it will become more serious. This thing we are joking with isn’t a thing to joke with, the government must take this insecurity serious.
“Sunday Igboho must handle the matter carefully so that it will not turn to something else, Fulani herdsmen are terrorist group, and this is why the government must handle this matter seriously.
“Buhari is disappointing Nigerians more, he has not addressed this issue the way he is supposed to, when we talk about insecurity, these are the things that causes it. The government must be careful so that it will turn to a situation when people will start defending themselves.
“Fulani herdsmen must be cautioned, this is not a time to joke, Nigeria is sitting on a time bomb of Fulani herdsmen, they don’t own Nigeria, they have to be cautioned by the president.”
Meanwhile, residents of Igangan has amid crisis rocking the community, presented to the police and government representatives proofs of millions of naira paid to Fulani kidnappers terrorising their territory, Naija News reports.
