Super Eagles winger, Ademola Lookman, has urged his teammates not to be under pressure ahead of Friday’s 2022 FIFA World Cup playoff against the Black Stars of Ghana in Kumasi.
Lookman, who recently switched international allegiance from England to the Super Eagles said players should enjoy themselves during the tie against Ghana.
Speaking to reporters at the National Stadium in Abuja on Wednesday, the Leicester City star said: “Not my first time in Nigeria. It’s just another game.
“Obviously, there’s a lot of expectation on the game.
We don’t need to put any pressure on ourselves but to go out and enjoy ourselves.”
Lookman shook off an illness that kept him out of Leicester City’s matchday squad against Brentford in the Premier League last Sunday and reported for international duty.
