Governor Zulum’s SSA bags traditional title in Kwara

The Senior Special Assistant, Publicity to the governor of Borno State, Hon. Lanre Obadiah has been confered with the traditional title of Bobadamoran in his home town in Kwara State.

The royal coronation which took place on Monday 27th December 2021, was performed by His Royal Majesty, the Elerin of Adanla, in Ifelodun local government area of Kwara State.

Performing the installation, the Elerin of Adanla informed the mammoth gathering that Hon Lanre Obadiah was selected for this prestigious royal title because of his high integrity, dedication and commitment to the upliftment of his people both in Kwara State and in Borno State where he works and resides.

Speaking at the coronation ceremony, Chief Lanre Obadiah dedicated the recognition to God almighty and singled out Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, the Executive Governor of Borno State for his support, encouragement and facilitation in ensuring the success of the royal installation. He further promised to put in his best to justify the confidence reposed in him by His Royal Majesty, the Elerin of Adanla and the entire people of Adanla kingdom.

Obadiah’s wife, Lydia Obadiah was also confered with the royal title of Yeye Bobadamoran.

With this installation, Chief Lanre Obadiah has become the Chief Counsellor and adviser to the King and the Adanla Kingdom.

A large delegation led by Oba ( Mai) Yoruba of Borno, Alhaji Hassan Alao Yusuf witnessed the ceremony as the new Bobadamoran is also the Otunba Yoruba (Waziri) of Borno.
