Group releases list of possible Igbo Presidential Candidates in 2023

A group known as the centre for Equity and Justice has released a list of possible Igbo presidential and Vice Presidential candidates for the 2023 elections.

The group, in a statement to POLITICS NIGERIA on Thursday, signed by its spokesperson, Chuks Ibegbu, noted that the current list contains names of possible presidential candidates who could be fielded from the South-East and Vice-presidential candidates from the north, adding that a final list will be released soon. The list includes;

The group admonished all the key political parties in Nigeria should consider and choose their presidential and vice-presidential candidates from the list. They advised that the Presidency in 2023 should be “zoned to Igbos in the interest of peace, unity and stability of the nation.”
