The Sultan of Sokoto and President-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, has assured Nigerians that despite the current economic challenges, there is still hope for a better future.

The revered monarch made this known on Friday in Sokoto during the observance of the new moon of Zulki’ida, which marks the beginning of the 11th month in the Islamic calendar.

Addressing the difficult economic conditions many Nigerians are facing, the Sultan urged citizens not to lose faith in the country’s potential for recovery and progress.

He said, “There is hope in Nigeria, no matter the current hardship. Things will get better, and we must not give up on our nation.”

The Sultan also called on leaders at all levels to intensify efforts in addressing the suffering of the people and to ensure that relief reaches those in need. He emphasized unity, prayer, and collective responsibility as vital tools in overcoming the nation’s challenges.
