Haulmace 2019 to hold on Wednesday

Haulage and Logistics Magazine Annual Conference and Exhibition (HAULMACE), 2019 edition has been scheduled to hold on Wednesday October 9, at the City Hall, Lagos.

The convener Alfred Okugbeni, said the keynote speaker is the Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps, Dr. Boboye Oyeyemi MFR who will speak on the theme: “Developing a stakeholders approach to driver management and professionalism for safety in Cargo transportation in Nigeria.” 

The HAULMACE event, which started in 2014, is the biggest annual gathering of decision makers in the haulage and logistics industry in Nigeria and would witness Conference and Exhibition.  

The aim of HAULMACE 2019 is to sensitize and inculcate the culture of safety among stakeholders in the product distribution value chain and create a professional career path for Nigerian truck drivers and their assistants.

The event is organized by Haulage and Logistics Magazine and will feature the National President, Nigerian Association of Transport Owners (NARTO), The National President, Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG), Comrade (Prince) Williams Eniredonana Akporeha as well as the National Chairman Petroleum Tanker Drivers branch of NUPENG (PTD), Comrade Akanni Oladiti.

Other guests of honour expected at the event include National Chairman, Association of Maritime Trucks Owner (AMATO), Chief Remi Ogungbemi, National President, Corporate Fleet Truck Owners Association, Mrs. Folake George; President, Council of Maritime Transport Union Association (COMTUA), Mr Olaleye Thompson; National President, Allied Truck and Transporters Association of Nigeria (ATTAN), Mr. Mutiu Akinbode.

Companies expected at the event are ABC Transport, GPC, TSL, AOP, A & A Global, BHN, Supply Chain Managers and Logistics Directors of various organisations, Managing Directors/ Chief Executives of manufacturing companies, executives and members of industry associations in haulage industry, safety personnel and experts, relevant road traffic law enforcement/governmental agencies.(State and Federal), banks and other financiers of haulage assets as well as insurance companies.
