Dr. Creek Healthcare Foundation a renowned non-governmental healthcare organization committed to providing quality medical services has commenced two weeks subsidized surgeries for Lagos Residents.
The health programme organized in partnership with IMC Medical Centre which will be held between 5th and 18th February 2024 at IMC Medical Centers in Snake Island, Amuwo Odofin LGA, is poised to make essential surgeries more accessible and affordable for individuals in need.
In a statement issued by the Media and Public Relations Unit of the Foundation, the financial constraints faced by many patients was cited as the main drive for the initiative.
“Recognizing the financial constraints faced by many patients, the organization has taken the initiative to offer a range of surgeries at significantly reduced costs during this period.
“The subsidized surgeries will cover a broad spectrum of medical procedures, such as Fibroid, Thyroid, Appendix, Lipoma, Prostate, Breast Lumps, Caesarean Sections, Hernia and Hydroceles surgeries.
“This program not only aims to alleviate the financial burden on patients but also to ensure that they receive the highest quality care from a team of skilled and experienced medical professionals.
“The organization believes that everyone should have access to life-saving surgeries and is dedicated to making that a reality.”
Stating the criteria for beneficiaries to access the services the statement read further: “To be eligible for the subsidized surgeries, individuals will need to meet specific criteria, which will be assessed by a dedicated team of medical experts.
