Former Lagos State Commissioner of Information a d Strategy Hon. Kehinde Bamigbetan has described his late wife Fatimah as his best critic and adviser.
Fatimah, died on Monday, after a battle with Csncer.
He said though not a politician, Fatimah knew politics inside out and became a core adviser in all that he has done in the political space.
Recalling how he got aquinted with her, Bamigbetan said:”I knew from the first day I saw her that she would be a good wife, and I invested everything, especially my time on her. I will go to her house every day and won’t leave until 1am every day because I was not willing to lose her. I gave her close marking because I was not ready for competition and I am happy that the little time I knew her, we understood each other perfectly and I can say that she was the perfect match for me.”
He said though he would have loved to still have her by his side, yet, he is comforted that the little time they spent together was the best time of his life.
He said her departure would be sorely missed, but he is assured that God who has called her home would provide the fortitude to bear the loss.
Meanwhile the Bamigbetan’s Ejigbo house continue to be a beehive as many group continue to pay condolence visit to the astute politician who was a two-term Chairman of Ejigbo Local Government Chairman before his appointment as the Commissioner for Information and Strategy under the Akinwunmi Ambode administration.
