The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) has announced the appointment of Yemi Aremo Adeyemi, Head Media Relations and Corporate Communications at the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG), as Director of Membership for International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).
A statement issued by IABC reads as follows:
“Yemi Adeyemi takes over as Director of Membership and Member at Large Outreach (West Africa).
The new Africa board member bring onboard communications strategy and corporate initiatives development experience.
His appointment is coming at the end of tenure of Sola Abulu on the Africa Region board of the IABC, said the statement, adding, we are thrilled to announce the appointment of Yemi Adeyemi.
Yemi, a strategic business leader and current Head, Media Relations and Corporate Communication Nigeria LNG Limited, brings cross–cultural experience spanning; Communication and Public Relations, Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations, as well as Marketing and Business Development.
His rich career has taken him through the Nigerian Banking Industry and global firms, KPMG and Cadbury, and now Nigeria LNG Limited.
Yemi has been a member of the IABC since 2009 and describes it as a professional family to which every Communicator should belong.
