SUNRISE NEWS, Lagos, Oct 5, 2020 Executive Chairman Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government, Apostle Oloruntoba Oke on Wednesday, 30 September, 2020 at the Council Secretariat , Aina Ajobo Lagos inaugurated a (Twenty) 20- Man committee led by the Vice Chairman, Prince Usman Hamzat for the forthcoming permanent Council Secretariat Commissioning and Ifako-Ijaiye Community Week.
Oke, who made the disclosure said” the exco, members of the Legislative Arm and Management, have decided to put together one of the best, if not the best ever, the community week celebrations which according to him, has commenced with the inauguration of credible people from different calling into the major central committee to take charge of the week-long event’ adding that this will allow for an all-inclusive participation as every segment of the local government is duly represented for more effective performance of the Committee to achieve it’s terms of reference” he noted.

The Council Chairman urged all the Central Committee members to brace up for the big task ahead and report back in Ten(10) days time while reiterating that it is in the course of the Community Week Celebration that the permanent council secretariat will be opened. It is also aimed at uniting the good people of Ifako-Ijaiye via Socio-economic status, improve the health status of the people in the community; thereby reducing mortality rate and nurture good talents while promoting the spirit of excellence.
