The Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly Rt.
Hon. Mudashiru Obasa has urged Lagosians to relate well with their Igbo neighbours
and canvass them with reasons to vote the All Progressive Congress party APC on
Saturday.
Obasa said this at the SolidarityAPC Campaign Rally held at Agege Stadium, to
support the candidate of the APC Governorship candidate Babajide Sanwo Olu. He
said as responsible guests to an accommodating host, the Igbos should vote for
the right person in the coming Election, noting that we are one big family in
Lagos state.
He said. He expressed further that Baba Eto has
repeatedly informed that since 1999 Lagos state has remain clean that the
government won’t allow Refuse anymore on the street of Lagos.
Cardinal James Odunmbaku urged the youths to refrain from playing football on
the election day but go out to vote APC government for the incoming Governor
Sanwo olu Babajide because the former Governor of Lagos State Asiwaju Bola
Ahmed Tinubu has once led to release Lagos State from Slavery in this same party.
The PSP representative Mr Toxin Kadiri promised in his speech to remain committed
in cleaning the street of Lagos and he thanked the government for their support
towards managing the waste in Lagos.
Director General for Sanwo olu campaign group, Hon.Tayo Ayinde informed that
the Sweepers had been rated high in their duties that there is no how it they
would not be included and compensated in next Administration to move Sweepers
to the greater height but they should go out on Saturday to cast their votes
for APC.
The President for the Association of Waste Managers of Nigeria Oladipo Egbeyemi
mentioned while addressing Newsmen that the Sweepers should not have a doubt to
go out to cast their votes on Saturday that the APC Governorship candidate
Babajide Olusola Sanwo olu has promised to be friendly and when the Association
submitted their Memo to him he promised to include the Sweepers in the benefit
policies of Lagos State. He said the group has promised to mobilize about
500,000 people to vote in Babajide Sanwo-olu on Saturday Governorship election because
the Association has found out that the last election had nothing home to write
about in Lagos state and they do not want anybody to be intimidated and there
is any intimidation on the election day, the association would report to the
Authority to be dealt with.
Oladipo Egbeyemi therefore begged league of sweepers to go out and cast their
votes.
The Chairman for Highway sweepers,Apostle Akin Adewole assured in his speech
that 95 percent of sweepers shall vote the APC Governorship candidate on Saturday that a lot of them are
politicians and already had been sensitized the way to rightfully cast their
votes for they are set to do better now than the last election and allow them
to jubilate on Saturday night at their campaign office.
Others in attendance were APC Deputy Governorship candidate Hamzat Kadiri, Oresanya
and the secretary to the Association of Waste Managers of Nigeria Mr Tate
Kolade.
