President Muhammadu Buhari has vowed to hand over a more diversified economy and more stable democratic Nigeria to his successor.
He spoke on Monday during a dinner held at the gala hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, in honour of the Committee of Leaders in Business, Politics, Media and the economy.
He said the government is determined to leave a more stable Nigeria as part of his legacy as the administration is winding down and would hand over to a new government next year.
He said Nigeria is so blessed that the country has no business being where it is today.
He said Nigeria would remain united, indestructible and indissoluble.
He said he set up the committee to develop an elite consensus on security, on economy among others in order to build an elite consensus on the growth trajectory of the country.
