Inter Miami forward, Lionel Messi, has claimed that he is one of the few players who has “achieved everything” in football.
Messi led his national team to Copa America glory in 2021 and their third World Cup title in 2022.
The 36-year-old has previously won league titles in Spain and France, also lifting the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup with Barcelona.
On a personal note, Messi is the footballer with the most Ballon d’Or awards (eight).
“She (The World Cup) is the most desired by everyone. Anyone dreams big and the biggest thing is to be a champion with your national team.
“I was lucky to achieve everything at the club level in Barcelona and also at the individual level. It was the only one I was missing.
“There are few players who can say they achieved everything. And thank God I’m one of them,” Messi told ESPN Argentina.
