I’m prepared to win – Ogun APC Assembly candidate

APC

The All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Assembly Candidate for Abeokuta North Constituency, in Ogun State, Hon. Taiwo Oludotun (Twinny), has said he is prepared to win the March 9, governorship and House of Assembly poll for the party.

Oludotun said this at a campaign rally in Abeokuta, the state capital, assuring the people of his constituency of good leadership. He said he will not jeopardise the confidence reposed on him.

He also assured the state and national leadership of the party that with his nomination as candidate, the party is poised to win the poll without any rancour, noting that none of the other political parties in the state stands a chance in the contest.

Oludotun expressed appreciation to the leaders and members of the party for standing firmly by him during the process leading to the APC nomination, saying that some unscrupulous elements nearly truncated the dream of getting the nomination form.

“I count myself privileged as the House of Assembly Candidate of the great party, some people have moved to shatter that dream but God willing, it’s failed, with this, it means that we have won the election on a landslide, because God is on our side.

“Heaven has sanctioned it that APC will continue in government in Ogun State after the the expiration of tenure of Senator Ibikunle Amosun. I want to assure our leaders that Ogun State is for APC, all the other parties are just shouting. Let them bring money, let them bring violence, Ogun people will resist them.

“We are no more interested in accommodating unnecessary interlopers. People want to take us through another round of economic slavery. We are no more ready for that. We are ready (APC) and prepared to take up this challenge as the incoming administration of Ogun state on the platform of the APC not APM or other political parties,” he said

He urged the people of the state to come out en masse to vote for the candidates of All Progressives Congress for the pragmatic change and general overhauling of the state, noting that incoming administration would address the issues of unpaid salaries, unremitted of deductions and promotion of workers.

“You see, workers is the engine room of any administration all over the world and I see no reason why any government will allow workers to be suffering, workers welfare suppose to be any government’s priority, that’s why we would take upon ourselves to ensure prompt payment of salaries, deductions, leave bonuses and gratuity.” Oludotun added.
