The Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Prof. Wasiu Adeyemo, on Wednesday confirmed that the federal institution had under its care, the index case of Lassa fever in the state.
“A confirmed case of Lassa fever was admitted two days ago and is currently receiving treatment at the LUTH Isolation Unit,” Adeyemo told PUNCH HealthWise on Wednesday.
