Intensified campaigns, our response to APC’s intimidation says Kosofe NNPP Reps candidate

By Olanrewaju Adesanya

Comrade Abdulwaheed Omotayo Odunuga (ABOO) the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) candidate in Kosofe Federal Constituency has vowed to intensify his people focused and issue based electioneering campaigns, across nooks and crannies of the area in spite of the political brigandage and attempt to intimidate his political loyalists clearly increasing over time.

The NNPP Federal House of Reps candidate in Kosofe ABOO’s aggressive grassroots mobilisation and penetration drive is according to keen watchers of the political moves ahead of the general elections already sending jitters down the spines of the Reps candidate of APC in the area.

According to a statement signed by the ABOO’s campaign 2023 media office the development, “has greatly divided and threatened the ruling party to an extent that it has resorted to bullying and propaganda.

“Seeing clearly the handwriting on the wall that the people in the constituency have rejected their lies and empty promises.

“For several months now, despite several petitions to the different security agencies (who pathetically failed to act on them) the desperate foot soldiers of the sinking party/candidate had constantly been tearing off and destroying all the posters, banners and other publicity materials of the New Nigeria People’s Candidates.

“And of recent they have started attacking members our party and trying to stop them from campaigning in different wards.

“Having failed in all of these desperado antics, the latest drama from their fuji house of confusion is all manner of propaganda to dissuade the moving train of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in Kosofe.

The NNPP candidate, a community liberator and activist however, appealed to all the good people of Kosofe Constituency not to allow the mad macabre dance of the sinking ship of APC to distract them from the work at hand- salvaging Kosofe from the hands of looters of our commonwealth.

He also confidently reassures Kosofe Constituency residents that he has not and will not ‘STEP DOWN’ for anyone in the coming elections as he is poised to win at the polls.
ABOO urged the good people of Kosofe Federal Constituency to latch on the opportunity availed by INEC’s extension of PVCs collection deadline by a week and go out to pick them up .

He added that there is an urgent statement they must make with their votes. “If you sell your vote, at the end of the day, don’t complain,” he said.
