…youth leader inaugurates exco
Engineer Joe Igbokwe an APC Chieftain and also the Special Adviser to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Drainages and Water resources and other stakeholders have tasked youths and especially ethnic groups within Lagos APC, to deliver at least 30million votes for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to actualize his presidential bid at the 2023 general elections.
The eminent leaders of ethnic nationalities represented at the forum from South South, North Central,South East and others who spoke so glowingly about Asiwaju’s to human capital development of which they were beneficiaries and for which they will go the whole hog to help actualize his life long ambition.
Engineer Igbokwe gave a trajectory of Asiwaju’s uncanny ability which clearly set him far higher above other contenders, adding that as the case stands in the polity, the leadership task of the country cannot be entrusted to a mediocre.
“I task you all leaders across the ethnic groups go and work and deliver 40million out of 80million expected total votes, give us at least 30illion votes.
“Asiwaju is the next President Nigeria, we have done our calculation and due diligence very well. It is not a contest with any other person, it is going to be based on antecedent and what you have done.
“He made me publicity Secretary of the party for 15 years, took me to agencies and made me remain in the cabinet, subjected to many trainings and better of.
“You cannot afford to go for a World cup competition if your team is not good, having a mediocre as governor for 4years,such will muscle capital to take another term and we would have lost eight years.
“ It is important to pick the man that understands the route. Why Asiwaju? The country is too big for us to have a mediocre in power as the largest economy in West Africa.
“I urge all the ethnic representation to support him,we are speaking the truth so as to ensure we don’t lose. Asiwaju cares he is dependable and knows where he is going.
In his contribution Patako Sharo the North Central Leader APC Lagos harps on the need to vote Asiwaju citing his accommodating mien as the required factor to fix the Nigerian polity.
“Asiwaju inaugurated us back then in AD and since we have never failed. Other party tried and failed, all because of Asiwaju we have three commissioners from ethnic nationalities outside the Yoruba flank in Lagos.
“I urge you to talk to our leaders to accomodate our people. Don’t discriminate, we have no difference. If Obi like let him come, only social media is contesting against Asiwaju none other.
Representative of Architect Kabiru Abdullahi the Commissioner for Waterfront Infrastructure, also eulogize Tinubu’s stating that he remains the only solution to Nigeria’s problem.
“Asiwaju is the most qualified presidential candidate amongst all running, a developmentalist who has a model to run Nigeria, test run with Lagos. Past and present situation attest to it, the solution to Nigeria’s problems and development has been found and that is Asiwaju.
“The youth wing importance cannot be over emphasized. The youth are the pillar of our campaign. They are armed with their PVC”
For Engineer Emiede a South South Leader in Lagos the forum reaffirms the resolve to go with Asiwaju all the way to victory.
“Tell council chairmen to carry our people along, we are much over 6million across the localities, if our votes go to Asiwaju you know what it means.
“Ethnic youths in Lagos can never die. We will never one day go back from Asiwaju structure. We are still with him since AD. Don’t go back.”
The climax of the event was the official inauguration of the Lagos Ethnic group in APC excos by the State Youth Leader Dr. Seriki Muritala who charged them to all work, mobilise and sensitize people together as a team in love to deliver maximally for Asiwaju at the 2023 polls.
Seriki while administering the oath of allegiance and oath of office on the exco, stressed the importance of team spirit on the political turf.
Some of the ethnic state excos inaugurated are: Mazi Leo Obasi-President, Vice President Comrade Ibrahim Musa Bebeji,Tony Nworibo -Secretary,Usman Mohammed -Treasurer, Oputa Emmanuel-Legal, Hamzat Favour Hamzat Organizing secretary and others.
