The Odigie-Oyegun led Presidential election screening committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), had rejected the application of 10 presidential aspirants of the party.
The panel had met and screened all the 23 aspirants of the party between Monday and Tuesday, May 30 and 31, 2022.
The panel conclusions was contained in its reports submitted to the Chairman of the party, Senator Abdullahi Adamu at the party Secretariat, Abuja on Friday.
Though Sunrise News could not immediately confirm the names of the disqualified aspirants, it was gathered that any aggrieved aspirants is free to appeal the conclusions of the screening committee, latest Saturday, as the party goes into presidential election convention on Monday.
By implication, only 13 aspirants will have their names on the ballot when the convention begins at the Eagles Square, Abuja, on Monday.
Each of the disqualified aspirants may have lost their N100 million fees for the expression of interest (N30 million) and Nomination form (N70 million). About N1 billion may have been lost by the axed aspirants.
