Presidential aspirants of the All Progressives Congress are said to have started their meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House, Abuja.
Buhari, who returned from an ECOWAS extraordinary summit hours ago, is expected to meet with all the 23 Presidential hopefuls.
Among those expected at the meeting with President Buhari are the Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governors Yahaya Bello (Kogi), Dave Umahi (Ebonyi), Kayode Fayemi (Ekiti), former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Goodwill Akpabio, former Transportation Minister Rotimi Amaechi, and Minister of Education (State) Chukwuemeka Uwajiuba, amongst others.
With barely 48 hours until the Presidential Primary elections of the APC, the meeting would, among other things, centre on the choice of a consensus candidate.
President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to unveil his preferred candidate at the event.
