Renowned actor Kanayo O Kanayo’s charitable organization, the KOK Foundation, recently marked a momentous occasion at the graduation ceremony of Bright Achievers School in Bariga, Lagos.
The event not only celebrated the academic achievements of the students but also commemorated the completion of the school’s extensive rehabilitation project undertaken by the foundation.
In an Instagram post, Kanayo O Kanayo expressed gratitude to the foundation’s supporters and well-wishers who generously contributed to the initiative.
The ambitious project involved reclaiming land near a lagoon and executing the challenging task of sand filling to improve the school’s infrastructure.
The rehabilitation process also included essential upgrades such as roofing and flooring, aiming to create an enhanced learning environment for the students.
While celebrating the success of the initiative, Kanayo humbly acknowledged that there is still a financial burden on the foundation.
Urging further support, he emphasized that this charity is not tied to any specific tribe or religion but is a collective effort for the betterment of humanity.
“The rehabiltated classroom in the video may not look fine but reclaiming land by a lagoon and sand filling it is no easy task. Thanks for your support in the roofing, flooring , at the Bright Achievers School, Bariga, Lagos etc. At least the children will not be ” beaten” when the rains fall. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. We are still in debt, please kindly send your support. This is for humanity not for any tribe or religion. God bless you,” Kanayo posted.
