SUNRISE NEWS, Lagos, Aug 25, 2020 Foremost amongst the aspirants who have shown the intent of jostling for the vacant seat at Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Abiodun Salami has congratulated the acclaimed All Progressives Congress (APC) consensus candidate Mr Femi Saheed, affirming party supremacy.
Salami who is the party’s Assistant Publicity Secretary in a statement made available to newsmen,made the disclosure of this development.
Hon.Femi Saheed who served as party Secretary after Dr Wale Ahmed left to be a Commissioner,happens to be the preferred APC candidate for the October 31st by-election,following the recent Governor Advisory Council’s (GAC)decision.
Salami in his congratulatory message noted that his move was in “absolute conformity with party supremacy and the dictates of our leaders.
“On behalf of our principal Hon Biodun Musiliu salami, his media team and teeming supporters hereby congratulate Hon Femi Saheed.
“On his emergence as the consensus candidate of our party APC in the forth coming bye-election to fill vacant seat of Kosofe Constituency 2 at Lagos state house of Assembly.
“We offer him our total support leading to his victory come 31st of Oct at the general election”.
