The Chairman, New Nigeria Peoples Party in Kano State., Hashimu Suleiman Dungurawa has expressed confidence that his party’s s presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso will emerge victorious in 2027.
Kwankwaso, it could be recalled, came a distant fourth in the 2023 presidential polls behind the likes of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi.
Speaking to journalists on Thursday in Kano however, Dungurawa argued that the unpopular policies of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had given Kwankwaso’s aspiration great boost and had made the journey lot more easier.
“With these your harsh anti-masses policies, and your stance on them, just prepare for defeat in the next general elections. You either change them or we Nigerians together will change you,” Dungurawa said.
He disclosed that his party had opened up offices across the federation, stressing that the development is a reflection of their commitment to dislodging the APC from power
Dungurawa cautioned the All Progressives Congress against the alleged plans to make the country a one-party system, saying it would fail.
He also dvised the Federal Government to introduce policies that would alleviate the sufferings of Nigerians.
