The Labour Party on Friday unveiled former banker and Pro-Chancellor of Baze University Baba Datti-Ahmed as the Vice Presidential candidate of the Labour Party.
The party said it is prepared to offer Nigerians a new paradigm in power and governance insisting that it is time Nigeria regains its pride of place in the comity of nations.
Datti-Ahmed a graduate of Economics and sound educationist said he and the presidential candidate would work in the interest of Nigerians.
He pledged his commitment to the nation and expressed the determination of the Labour party to make democracy count.
Datti-Ahmed’s emergence put an end to the spell of placeholder, which saw the party name former presidential spokesman, Dr Doyin Okupe.
