SUNRISE NEWS, Lagos, July 17, 2020 Forty-two COVID-19 patients among who were 10 foreign nationals were on Friday, discharged in Lagos State, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has said.
In a statement personally signed by the governor, who is the Incident Commander, the discharged patients were made up of 17 females and 25 males. The discharged persons have reunited with their families.
According to him, eight of the patients were discharged from Gbagada, five from Agidingbi, 15 from Eti-Osa (Landmark), six from Onikan, and eight from LUTH isolation Centres. “The patients were discharged after full recovery and testing negative to COVID19,” Governor Sanwo-Olu stated.
He urged Lagosians to continue to adhere strictly to all public advisories given by government for COVID-19 free Lagos adding that it is now a criminal offence in the state to go out without using a face mask.
