The Lagos State Government on Tuesday unveiled what it called the authentic list of approved prices of number plates obtainable in the state.
The announced price list is to help counter the confusion going round regarding the new number plate which was claimed to have been released by the Federal Roads Safety Commission (FRSC), on the new price regime for acquisition of number plates in the country.
The new price regime has been jerked by as much as 50 percent.
But in the new price list released on Tuesday, the Lagos State Government said the price inclusive of other charges are: Blue Number Plate N37, 825, Red Number Plate is N41,300, Change of Ownerhip Blue Plates N33, 825, Change of Ownership Red Plates N38, 300, Fancy Number Plates N210,175, Fancy Number Plates Conversion N202,050 and Fancy Plates Motorcycles N54,000.
Others are; Out of Series Plates N60, 175, Out of Series Conversion N52,050, Loss of Plates defaced N21, 250, Articulated Plates N57,675, Standard Conversion N19,300 while Articulated Conversion is N41, 500.
A fresh three years Drivers Licence renewal now goes for N10,350, while fresh renewal of five years Drivers Licence is now N15,450.
The government urged Lagosian to approach any motor vehicle administration’s stations across the state to verify the various fees before any transaction is concluded.
