SUNRISE NEWS, Lagos, Aug 5, 2020 – As the campaign for elective position in the Nigeria Medical Association (MNA) Lagos Chapter, draws to a close later today,the candidature of Tajudeen Mobolaji Salau who is vying for the post of Vice Chairman I, got another boost with the huge support galvanized by the entire old students of Falomo High School in Lagos for him from all walks of life.
The man Tajudeen Salau according to them deserves the post, having served meritoriously at various capacity in the Medical Guild and the Continous Medical Education section of the NMA Lagos.
In a statement issued and signed by the a staunch member of the FHS forum,Mr Niyi Adeduro, Salau’s capability and competence coupled with humane qualities was cited as basis for their rallying round him for the post.
“Tajudeen Mobolaji Salau is a good friend and colleague of ours while in the high school and the entire old students of Falomo High school make bold to say he is good to go for the task ahead having proven his worth in various capacities prior to now, we are very much in zinc with his aspiration as vice chairman I, in the Lagos State chapter of the Nigeria Medical Association.”
This support by FHS is coming ahead of the Association’s election billed to hold tomorrow Thursday 6th of August,2020.
Mr Tajudeen Salau is a Principal Medical Officer in General Hospital Lagos.
He disclosed to newsmen that his keen interest in the affairs of Lagos NMA dates back to well over 20 years,with good grasp of what are the needs and peculiarities.
“It has always been my aim to make appropriate contributions to the Association, but this is hardly possible by standing aside.
“The above informed my decision to run as 1st Vice Chairman of Lagos NMA,with a view to contributing my quota towards the development of the Lagos doctor.” Said Salau.
He added that his experience cuts across the Medical Guild where he served as Assistant Secretary and Secretary and even the NMA where he served for two terms in the CME committee of Lagos NMA.
