The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party -PDP in Lagos state has made a birthday wish that when Chief Olabode George the Atona of Oduduwa of Yoruba land will mark his 80th birthday anniversary next three years the party will have taken over the reins of power in the state.
This was contained in a statement issued and signed by the Lagos State PDP Publicity Secretary Hon Hakeem Amode in commemoration of the 77th birthday anniversary of the party’s foremost national leader in Southwest region fondly known as BG.
The statement read in part : “We are proud of you and of your leadership of our party at the National level, the South West region and Lagos state in particular.
“Your contributions towards the enthronement of PDP government in the country and the south west region remains a feat that the party is poised to achieve in the coming elections.
“As we celebrate you this year Chief, we pray that when you will celebrate the fourscore, our party would have formed the government in Lagos state and you will be honoured with the presence of the serving governor of your party,once again, please accept our hearty felicitations.” Lagos PDP
