Son of the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Hon. Folakunmi Mohammed has lost his third term bid to represent Ikeja Constituency I, in the Lagos State House of Assembly.
Folajinmi polled Nine votes, while Hon Sheyi Lawal polled 15 votes to emerge the winner of the keenly contested election. Twenty-five delegates voted in the election.
The loss drops the curtain on Folajinmi’s illustrious political career which began in 2015 when he emerged as the winner and representatives of the Ikeja I Constituency in the Lagos State House of Assembly.
