Real Madrid goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois has told Barcelona that Los Blanco’s 4-0 defeat to the Catalan giants in El Clasico was only a fluke.
Barcelona thrashed La Liga leaders 4-0 in El Clasico in front of their home fans at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
Gourtois said that Real Madrid has improved drastically since then which indicates it was merely a bad day at the office for Los Blancos against their rivals.
The goalkeeper described the defeat as a bad night for Carlo Ancelotti’s side but added that they recovered very fast and do not have to think too much about defeats.
“If you look at our results and our performance it was a fluke,” the Belgian told El Capitan.
The former Chelsea and Atletico Madrid goalkeeper further hailed Real Madrid for the comeback win over PSG in the Champions League round of 16.
“It was a wonderful dream,” he said.
“After the first leg, few fans believed we could qualify, but we did it.”
