Legendary CNN talk show host Larry King dies at 87

The late Larry King

Legendary broadcaster and CNN reporter, notable for his incisive interviews and genial voice, Larry King, is dead. He was 87.

He died today in Cedars Sinai Hospital, in Los Angeles, where he had been hospitalised.

Larry King had earlier contracted COVID-19, but he was treated and discharged, though telling of the tail effect of the dreaded viral infection. Larry King has been off and on the hospital since he was discharged as he complained of the side effects of the treatment of his treatment.  

King hosted CNN’s Larry King Live for over 25 years.

Fondly remembered as a Brooklyn boy who became a newsman, King conducted well over 50,000 interviews nd is never afraid of confronting newsmakers with their other sides.

His death was announced by Ora Media.
