London-Lagos land traveller Pelumi Nubi survives car crash

Pelumi Nubi, a 28-year-old travel content creator, narrowly escaped tragedy on Tuesday as her solo road trip from London to Lagos took a perilous turn.
Sharing a video of her wrecked vehicle with severe damage to the front and a shattered windshield on her verified Instagram page, Nubi called for prayers from her followers, revealing the aftermath of the harrowing accident.

Expressing her determination to challenge the notion of impossibility, Nubi embarked on her ambitious journey to showcase that with enough grit and determination, any obstacle can be overcome. Her route planned to traverse England, France, Spain, Morocco, the West Sahara Desert, Mauritania, Senegal, The Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Mali, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Ghana, Togo, Benin, before finally reaching Nigeria, where she aimed to arrive in Lagos.

While Nubi had conversations with fellow adventurers, she emphasized that her journey was not motivated by breaking records, despite being a pioneering endeavor for a black woman.
