I might not appreciate some things about Dr. Tunde Bakare, but I do appreciate the fact that I had the opportunity to learning under his tutelage when he was a Pastor and a teacher of the word before he became a Politician and everything in the Bible came a political verses and scriptures to fit his ambition.
If there is anything I learnt from him then, it is what it means to be clear about the truth and sticking to the truth even if the heavens and the skies above you are falling down and this one single traits had been the pillar to which I’d lived my life ever since; even though it had cost me more than I can chew; and I’ll for ever be grateful to God and for the opportunity to learn from him.
Recently I came about a video teaching of an Apostle Joshua Selman where he said that; “Adam was not the first Man, Adam was the first Man created in the image.” He omitted “of God.”
He went further to say that; “there was a dispensation where Lucifer was over them.” The them in this context he did not made mention of, but he went further to say that; “He -Lucifer- was a representation of what God brought Man to do. There was a dispensation when Lucifer was mandated to be the revelation of God to them”. Again the them in this context he did not made mention of. “And on an account of that assignment his making, angels, Cherubim were not made from Dusts, they were made from Quantize Light. Light depreciate their body but the degree to which the light upon them excel. The light to which when they visit the throne room, because every time they visit him, it’s a law to both human and angel that as we behold Him we are change. So Lucifer, it was on the strength of his build up, the dexterity of his making that pride came upon him.
Lucifer was the Cherubim that covereth. He was hiding in the Garden of the Lord, the entire garment of his making was an artistry of God. His assignment was the custodian, the light bearer, revelations as stored as light that was his office. The son of the morning. On account of the revelation of God that he had, he built pride and he said, do you know what; if these is all that made God to be God, then I have all it takes to be God. I will exalt myself above the stars of God; I will be like the Most High. Treason was found in him. He wanted to build a parrarel government so that he can chose either God or she and there was war in heaven. Don’t downplay the level’s of Lucifer intelligence. Even in heaven he deceived one third of the angels. It was the judgememt that came as a result of the fall of Lucifer. When you read the book of Revelation it says who to you the inhabitants of the earth, for Lucifer, that great dragon has been cast into the Earth, he had come with anger and fury.
Unfortunately, the scripture he quoted in Revelation does not exist. What was written in Revelation 12:7-9 was; “and war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”
Not only that, this event took place after the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ not before. And this was made clear in the next verse; Revelation 12:10-12 where Apostle John said, “then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the Kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”
“The devil has come down to you” this was after Christ not before Christ as he said in his message. “Lucifer came to the Earth in anger and he was hovering around the face of the water. It was the judgement of Lucifer that led to Genesis 1:2.” He was directly saying that Lucifer was the Spirit of God in Genesis 1:2 where it was said that; “the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.” This is nothing but a lie, deception and falsehood from the pit of hell.
He further said that; “Genesis 1:3 is now God bringing light, what light? This was not sunlight, I hope you know? Sunlight was created in the form; the light, the light giving factor of the creation. He withdrew it in the judgement of Lucifer. Now, God said, light be. That’s the original Hebrew rendition. Light be and there was light. Then He began to create everything and He saw that everything was good.
There are so many misleading points in his message and it is necessary that we look into these errors before we found ourselves at a point of no return.
Indirectly he is saying that Lucifer was the Cherubim that was made of light. He also said that Lucifer was the Spirit of God moving over the face of the Waters when he was casted down from heaven. If this is true, how come the earth was still in Darkness when he was casted to the Earth? If Lucifer was the Cherubim that was made of light as he said, is he not supposed to shine in the darkness as it was said in John 1:5 that; “and the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.”
Let’s examine everything he had said from Gen 1:2-5. According to the scriptures, the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.
In the above verses I highlighted four words, darkness, Spirit, Let there be and light. The reason is because these words have their own Hebrew’s renditions that can be misleading if misinterpreted.
The word “Darkness” in Hebrew means Choshekh: dark, darkness, obscurity, night, dusk, misery, falsehood, ignorance. The term has the figurative meaning of blindness, hiddenness, and judgement. In the context of this discussion, the word misery is the word closer to what we are talking about and the word misery simply means great unhappiness meaning; sadness, sorrow, grief, discontent, despondency, gloom and melancholy. All of these and many other unpleasant things we can think or imagine are already in the earth before the creation.
Then the bible made mentioned of the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. The word “Spirit” mention in Genesis 1:2 in Hebrew means Ruach; that is air for breathing, air that is being breathed, breath. And in Job 27:3-6 it was said that; “as long as my breath is in me, and the breath (Spirit) of God in my nostrils, my lips will not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit. Far be it from me that I should say you are right; till I die I will not put away my integrity from me. My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go; my heart shall not reproach me as long as I live.
This of cause is a confirmation to the saying in Job 32:8 that says; there is a spirit in man, and the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding. Which means, the breath in us human are not just air that we breathe but the Spirit of God in us. No wonder Apostle Paul said to Thessalonian church in 1 Thess 4:17 that; “then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.”
We are not just human beings, we’re also spirit beings not spiritual beings.
Then God said, “Let there be” which in Hebrews means, Hayah: to breath, to exist, to be, to become, to come to pass, to be done, to happen, to be finished. The key to the meaning of Jehovah / Yahweh is undoubtedly found in “I am that I am” which is translated “I am He who is”, or “I am He who exist”.
This is the power the Lord was talking about in Job 22:28-30 where it was said that; “you will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways. When they cast you down, and you say, ‘Exaltation will come!’ then He will save the humble person. He will even deliver one who is not innocent; yes, he will be delivered by the purity of your hands.”
The same was God command light to shine forth when the Earth was in darkness is the same way we all have the power to declare light to come forth out of the darkest hour and moments of our lives. And it will happen if we so belief it. That is why Jesus said in Mark 11:24 that; “whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
Other translations says, “all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them.”
“…pray for absolutely everything, ranging from small to large. Include everything as you embrace this God-life, and you’ll get God’s everything.”
“…when you pray and ask for something, believe that you have received it, and you will be given whatever you ask for.”
When God said let there be light, the Light God declare that very moment in Hebrew is called “Or”: brightness, lightening, luminary, daylight, sunlight, illumination, enlightenment, happiness, cheerfulness.
The light in this context is the daylight and its creation was clearly stated in Gen 1:14-16 where God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth”; and it was so. Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also.”
The greater light to rule the day is the sunlight, and the lesser light to rule the night is the moonlight; and Joseph captured the potency of sunlight, moonlight and the star is in Gen 37:9 where “he dreamed still another dream and told it to his brothers, and said, “Look, I have dreamed another dream. And this time, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars bowed down to me.”
The sun, the moon, and the stars are symbols of God covenant of greatness to Human Beings and this was made clear in Psalm 121:6-8 where it was said that; “the sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore.”
From what all evil shall the Lord preserve you? Choshekh meaning “Darkness”; misery, falsehood, ignorance, blindness, hiddenness, judgement, great unhappiness, sadness, sorrow, grief, discontent, despondency, gloom and melancholy.
Apostle Joshua Selman went on to say that; “and then, when we get to Genesis 1:26, this is the first classic expression that proves the triumph nature of God. And God said, let us. This was a parliament. There was a meeting going on. Not let me, let us. But this does not automatically tell you they are Three, they could be Ten. So, how do we know if they are the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit?”
In Gen 1:26-28 God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
The “Us” in this context is not and is never God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus was never in existence during the time of creation in Genesis. He was not and was never in the Garden of Eden either. The coming and the existence of Yes’hua was after thought. And He and His disciples existed in Zech 3:1-10 where it was said that; “then He showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to oppose him. And the Lord said to Satan, “The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?”
Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the Angel. Then He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, “Take away the filthy garments from him.” And to him He said, “See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich robes.” And I said, “Let them put a clean turban on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head, and they put the clothes on him. And the Angel of the Lord stood by. Then the Angel of the Lord admonished Joshua, saying, “Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘If you will walk in My ways, and if you will keep My command, then you shall also judge My house, and likewise have charge of My courts; I will give you places to walk among these who stand here.
Please pay attention to this; here God was talking about the disciples of Jesus Christ, Peter and the church saying; ‘Hear, O Joshua, the high priest, You and your companions who sit before you, for they are a wondrous sign (the disciple); for behold, I am bringing forth My Servant the BRANCH (Jesus Christ). For behold, the stone (Peter) that I have laid before Joshua: upon the stone are seven eyes (the church). Behold, I will engrave its inscription,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day. In that day,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘everyone will invite his neighbour under his vine and under his fig tree.'”
In Zech 6:11-13 God said; take the silver and gold, make an elaborate crown, and set it on the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest. Then speak to him, saying, ‘thus says the Lord of hosts, saying: “behold, the Man whose name is the BRANCH! From His place He shall branch out, and He shall build the temple of the Lord; yes, He shall build the temple of the Lord. He shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule on His throne; so He shall be a priest on His throne, and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.”‘
So, Jesus was never part of the “Us” in creation. The “Us” in creation is God and the many spirits that makes up different characters, attitudes and doings in us and this was clearly stated in the scripture; the spirit of life, the spirit of wisdom, the spirit of jealousy, the Spirit of God, the Spirit of the Lord, the spirit of a man, the spirit of the sons of men, the spirit of the animal, the spirit of the ruler, the spirit of judgment, the spirit of burning, the Spirit of counsel, the spirit of might, the Spirit of knowledge, the spirit of the fear of the Lord, the spirit of deep sleep, the spirit of the humble, the spirit of heaviness; the spirit of the kings, the spirit of the living creatures, the Spirit of the Holy God, the spirit of harlotry, the Spirit of grace, the spirit of supplication, the Spirit of truth, the Spirit of holiness, the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, the spirit of bondage, the Spirit of adoption, the spirit of your mind, the spirit of truth, the spirit of error
Gen 7:22, Ex 28:3, Num 5:14, 1 Sam 10:10, 1 Sam 16:13, Prov 18:14, Eccl 3:21, Eccl 3:21, Eccl 10:4, Isa 4:4, Isa 4:4, Isa 11:2, Isa 11:2, Isa 11:2, Isa 11:2, Isa 29:10, Isa 57:15, Isa 61:3, Jer 51:11, Ezek 1:20, Dan 4:8, Hos 4:12, Zech 12:10, Zech 12:10, John 14:17, Rom 1:4, Rom 8:2, Rom 8:15, Rom 8:15, Eph 4:23, 1 John 4:6, 1 John 4:6
These and many others are the “Us” God was referring to, but God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Why did God said let Us create Man in our image and end up creating Man in His own image? The reason was because all the spirits dwells in the presence of the Lord and Prophet Micaiah made us understand this in 1 Kings 22:19 saying; I saw the Lord sitting on His throne, and all the host of heaven standing by, on His right hand and on His left.
In Gen 2:7, it was said that; “the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.”
Now, the Man created and the Man formed are not the same. The Man created is a spirit that needed a body, a physical body to function in the physical; so God formed the Man and deposited the Man He created in the Man He formed.
When the bible said that that “breathed into his nostrils of the Man He formed the breath of life; and Man became a living being”; what God did was to deposit the created Man in the formed Man. It is more of putting Engine in an assembling vehicle.
Now, is Lucifer the spirit of God hovering around the face of the water? Nope, his not. Was Lucifer casted to the Earth before Christ? No he wasn’t. Is Lucifer alight in the world? No his not.
Lucifer is the spirit destruction; he is not Satan and definitely he is not Devil and this was made clear in Isa 14:12-17 saying; “how you are fallen from heaven, o Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’ Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, to the lowest depths of the Pit. “Those who see you will gaze at you, and consider you, saying:
‘Is this the man who made the earth tremble, who shook kingdoms, who made the world as a wilderness and destroyed its cities, who did not open the house of his prisoners?’
Satan is one of the sons of God; this was made known in the book in Job 1:6-12 where it was said that; now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them. And the Lord said to Satan, “From where do you come?” So Satan answered the Lord and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.” Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?” So Satan answered the Lord and said, “Does Job fear God for nothing? Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. But now, stretch out Your hand and touch all that he has, and he will surely curse You to Your face!” And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not lay a hand on his person.” So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.
The same event repeated itself in Job 2:1-8 which made it much clearer to us that Satan is not just the son of God, he was also the eyes of the Lord that goes to and fro on the earth searching for those whose heart is loyal to God; as it was said in 2 Chron 16:9; “for the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.” What we called Satan tempting us is actually Satan trying our heart to see if it is right with the things that pertains to God and godliness.
What Job escaped, David fell for in 1 Chron 21:1-10 when Satan stood up against Israel, and moved David to number Israel. So David said to Joab and to the leaders of the people, “Go, number Israel from Beersheba to Dan, and bring the number of them to me that I may know it.” And Joab answered, “May the Lord make His people a hundred times more than they are. But, my lord the king, are they not all my lord’s servants? Why then does my lord require this thing? Why should he be a cause of guilt in Israel?” Nevertheless the king’s word prevailed against Joab. Therefore Joab departed and went throughout all Israel and came to Jerusalem. Then Joab gave the sum of the number of the people to David. All Israel had one million one hundred thousand men who drew the sword, and Judah had four hundred and seventy thousand men who drew the sword. But he did not count Levi and Benjamin among them, for the king’s word was abominable to Joab. And God was displeased with this thing; therefore He struck Israel. So David said to God, “I have sinned greatly, because I have done this thing; but now, I pray, take away the iniquity of Your servant, for I have done very foolishly.” Then the Lord spoke to Gad, David’s seer, saying, “Go and tell David, saying, ‘thus says the Lord: “I offer you three things; choose one of them for yourself, that I may do it to you.”
As I said, Lucifer is not Satan and Satan is not Devil. While Lucifer is one entity, Satan is another personality on his own, but the Devil is many. This was made clear in Matt 7:22 when Jesus Christ said; “many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?”
Devils are under the ruler-ship of Satan but he is not Satan.
Here are the hierarchies in the orders of life; Lucifer is never in the class of Satan, he is an Archangel and he remain so till date.
Satan on the other hand is one of the sons of God, under Satan are the Devils, Demons, Evil spirits and with the evil spirits comes all kinds of spiritual attacks and evil against mankind.
There was no other Man created or formed before Adam. Adam was the first Man God created first in spiritual realm and later made into physical being. Neither was Lucifer the spirit of God that was hovering over the waters.
Let’s be guided with how listen to preachers and what we feed our spirit with from them. That a preacher said it doesn’t mean that it is coming from God. Even this that you are reading from me, sit down and do your further findings.
