Manchester City were emphatic victors over Liverpool in the Premier League’s lunchtime kick-off as they maintained the pressure on Premier League leaders Arsenal.
City went into the game eight points behind Mikel Arteta’s Gunners, albeit with a game in hand, and went behind in the first half when Diogo Jota set up of Mohamed Salah after a perfectly timed run.
Julian Alvarez equalised for City and the Blues scored three more times after the interval, with Kevin De Bruyne, Ilkay Gundogan and Jack Grealish all scoring.
