Roma manager, Jose Mourinho, has emerged a potential target for Everton if they decide to sack Rafa Benitez.
Mourinho only took charge of the Serie A side in July.
However, it is believed the Portuguese would be open to a return to the Premier League if the right club came calling.
Pressure on Benitez has ramped up following the 4-1 defeat in the Merseyside derby to his former club Liverpool in midweek.
The defeat extended Everton’s poor run to seven losses and two draws in their last 10 Premier League games.
Throughout much of the game and at the final whistle, home supporters jeered and chanted against both the manager and the Goodison Park board.
