NANS honours OGSCOHTECH Provost Oladunjoye, with Nobel award for selfless service

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has conferred a Nobel award on the Provost of the Ogun State College Health Technology (OGSCOHTECH), Ilese-Ijebu, Dr. Abiodun Oladunjoye for his selfless service to humanity, growth and distinct disposition which has contributed meaningfully to the development and outstanding of education sector in the state.

The National Public Relation Officer (PRO) of the NANS, Comrade Azeez Adeyemi while presenting the award to the Provost, at the Provost Chamber of the college, stated that the award was given to whom it deserved, especially on his meritorious contribution to the education sector.

He stated further that the leadership of NANS after detailed findings and unbiased analysis, found it worthy that the college’s Provost, aside baseless defamation statement against his personality has been picked for the Nobel award.

 “It is our privilege to honour to whom is due, the Provost of the college, Dr. Abiodun Oladunjoye also deserves the Nobel award for his meritorious contribution to the educational sector in the state, he is an educationalist per excellence, unbiased, incorruptible, accessible and adjudged by the people, as a man of highly intelligent”, Adeyemi said

He added that the leadership of NANS would never associated itself with individual, group of individuals  or personalities with questionable and indecent character, saying that the NANS has integrity and image to protect and would never compromise for monetary or gratification purposes.

Responding, the Provost of the College, Dr. Abiodun Oladunjoye appreciated the association for finding him wanting for the award, noting that he never expected the award at this crucial moment that could be tagged a “trying moment of his life”.

“Indeed, am really grateful for a Nobel award being conferred on me, not that the award is so much matter but the wording of plague worth of reading and casting by the people who want toe part of greatness in life, though, am not best man in the universe but what matter most is to let people of honour find you wanting when it matter most, I really appreciate the NANS for the award”, Oladunjoye said

While hailing the management of the college and NANS for the honour bestowed on him, Dr. Oladunjoye said he dedicated the award to the God almighty and all staff and management of the college, saying that God has power over everything, both the living and the dead, likewise too, my management, “no man is an island, and a tree cannot make forest”.

“You see, my joy knows no bound especially at the moment in my life, I really thank God Almighty and everybody for always being there for me every now and then, if not you people, who am I? I cannot do it alone but with your contributions, we shall all excel. I really doff my hat”, Oladunjoye said
