Comrade AbdulWaheed Odunuga the National Vice President, Joint Action For Good Governance and the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) House of Representatives Candidate, Kosofe Federal Constituency in the previous general election has set agenda for Hon. Kafilat Ogbara the new Kosofe Federal House of Representatives member,counseling her to uphold the principles of democratic system; transparency, integrity, and accountability.
Odunuga tasks Hon. Kafilat Ogbara to be a people friendly lawmaker, while urging her to be more accessible and more proactive to addressing challenges confronting her constituents.
In a statement issued and signed by Odunuga to congratulate the newly inaugurated Reps member Ogbara, offering thoughtful guides ahead of the new task, “Your win is a testament to your dedication, hard work, and the trust bestowed upon you by the constituents.
“As you embark on this honourable journey of serving the people, I offer you my sincere advice. Remember that you are now entrusted with the responsibility to represent the aspirations and interests of our constituents. Odunuga also charged Ogbara to do more of listening to the concerns of her constituents, so as to translate it into good motions and better legislation that has direct bearings on the constituency.
“Always remain accessible to the people you serve. Actively listen to their concerns and prioritize their needs. Be proactive in addressing their challenges and working towards sustainable solutions that improve the lives of the constituents.
“Furthermore, utilize your position to advocate for equitable policies, socio-economic development, and the overall progress of Kosofe Federal Constituency. Empower the youth, support education, promote healthcare initiatives, and champion infrastructural improvements that enhance the well-being of the community.
