NCDC Records 236 New Cases of Covid-19 in Nigeria

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its latest COVID-19 update, on its official Facebook on Saturday morning, recorded 236 fresh cases across 11 states with Lagos topping the log with over 90 new infection cases.

With the new infections, the NCDC noted that the infection toll now stands at 251,930 while 225,906 discharged people have been successfully treated and discharged across the nation.

▪️90 confirmed cases reported for Lagos for 20th (46) & 21st (44) January 2022
▪️29 confirmed cases reported for FCT for 20th (15) & 21st (14) January 2022
▪️322 Discharged cases reported for FCT for 20th (1) & 21st (8) January 2022 and 313 community discharges for 20th (119) & 21st (194)
▪️4 states with zero cases reported: Bauchi, Ogun, Ondo and Sokoto.
