Lovers and supporters of Nigerian football may have cause to smile again as the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) announced that it would be announcing a new football coach for the nation on Thursday.
The new National Coach would be the new coach for the Super Eagles and the other national age grade football categories, such as the Under 21 and under 18 football teams.
The Head of the Technical crew Augustine Equavoen lost the opportunity to lead the Super Eagles when he lost the opportunity to qualify the nation for the Dubai 2022 mundial in the games against Ghana.
The NFF have been in the eye of the storm over their preference for gaffer Perreira, whose choice to coach the nation was put on hold until Equavoen lost the chance to prove the case for local gaffer.
The Minister of Sports Mr Sunday Dare has called on the NFF to make its shopping more elaborate.
