SUNRISE NEWS, Lagos, Sept 13, 2020 The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said COVID-19 claimed two new deaths, while 160 new cases was recorded in the country on Saturday.
Highlight of the pandemic posted by the agency on its website as at Saturday said the new cases pushed the caseload to 56177 with 44088 discharged with 1078 deaths from 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
The 160 new cases are reported from 13 states. For the first time, FCT and Plateau State paired with 39 fresh cases, pushing Lagos to the third place with 30 cases. The cases are as follows:
